It is 9/13.
2 days after 9/11. The TV is full of 9/11 stuff. It is difficult to escape.
Slow deterioration continues. Still managing to get to work on my chair. My office building is one of those Heritage ones, so they are exempt from providing ramps and automatic doors. I can see their point. There is a wonderful old area in Toronto called St.Lawrence Market. It has one of those old buildings which is a real beauty. They have now installed a new modern automatic sliding door. Very efficient and disability friendly, but ugly as hell. I guess it is difficult to blend old world style with mod cons. I don't know whether to applaud or criticize.
Last weekend, a small group of us ataxians got together for a coffee at a Tim Hortons in Markham. There were 3 of us affected ones and 1 family member. It was a great opportunity to get out of the routine and meet people.
We are trying to set up a Toronto chapter of NAF - National Ataxia Federation.

Hi there! Would it be possible to meet up and talk about your experience with Beike? A friend's relative has ataxia, but he is not sure the company is trustworthy. We are based in Toronto.
can you write on my email: r.viswanathan@sympatico.ca ? I would be happy to contact you.
